Welcome to Millard Family Eyecare Millard Family Eyecare was founded as a private practice in June 1993 by Dr. David Michaels. In May 1995, Dr. Ellen Weiss joined as a partner. In June 2004, we expanded to our current modern facility. Dr. Desinee Drakulich joined our office in June 2007. These changes reflect our on-going commitment to patient care.
We offer a large selection of high fashion and designer frames and lens options and have a complete line of contact lenses - including contact lenses for astigmatism and people who need bifocals. We use modern equipment and for your convenience we offer evening and Saturday hours.

Millard Family Eyecare and Special Olympics
In 2001, the Lions Clubs International Foundation awarded Special Olympics the first grant in a multi-year, multi-million dollar commitment. Since then, the foundation has given more than $1 million each year. Together, these two organizations work to bring proper eye care to Special Olympics athletes around the globe through the Healthy Athletes Opening Eyes program. Millard Family Eyecare has formed a strong relationship with these organizations, and we send our doctors and staff to the Special Olympics games each year to examine athletes through the Opening Eyes.
That Millard Family Eyecare has the largest childrens frame selection in the area? In fact, pediatric eye care is a specialty that we have provided to the Omaha since we opened way back in 1993! Children of all ages including infants are seen in our office every day!
